Ice cream makes lives better. But it can only do so much. The Milkhouse has a long history of working with organizations throughout the community to have more impact than ice cream can have on its own. Whether it is donating tips, a percentage of profits, or hosting fundraising events, the Milkhouse is always looking for more ways to help others do good.
The Milkhouse Foundation
Started in 2022, the Milkhouse Foundation was established as a 501c3 that provides opportunities to support local organizations with donated funds. Since its inception, the Milkhouse Foundation has partnered with the St. Clair County Dive Team Auxiliary, Spero Pregnancy Care Center, St. Clair County Child Abuse and Neglect Council, Mid City Nutrition, and others.
The primary source of funding for the Milkhouse Foundation is you! Every time you visit us as a customer, you are given the opportunity to donate your tips to the Milkhouse Foundation. Each month from June-September, a different organization is chosen to be the recipient of Milkhouse Foundation funds. From October-May, any funds collected are given to the Milkhouse Foundation to go toward special projects. In the past we have contributed to Harbor Impact Ministries, Port Huron Area School District, and more.

The 2025 Giving Calendar will be published in May. For 2024, the summer recipients of Milkhouse Foundation funds were as follows:
- June: Blue Water Connection – Special Olympics Team
- July: St. Clair County Sheriff Volunteer Search & Recover Dive Team Auxiliary
- August: St. Clair County Child Abuse & Neglect Council
- September: Blue Water Recovery & Outreach Center

All fundraisers and events submitted via the form below at least one month prior to the date will be considered, however, not all requests will be able to be accommodated. A member of our team will contact you to discuss your fundraising event.
